Four Cougars Named To Pacific-10 Tennis All-Academic Teams
Senior Ekaterina Burduli and junior Aleksandra Cekic's second-team selections headed a list of four Washington State University tennis players named to the Pacific-10 Conference 2008 women's tennis All-Academic teams, it was announced by Commissioner Tom Hansen.

The Washington State University women's tennis program has limited openings available for its annual tennis camps at the WSU Outdoor Tennis Courts. Openings are available for both the junior and adults camps.

Cougars Ranked Fourth in Final ITA Northwest Regional Ranking
Washington State University seniors Ekaterina Burduli and Aleksandra Stefanova, along with freshman Ekaterina Kamendova finished their 2008 seasons ranked in the top 30 of the Northwest Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently announced. As a team the Cougars finished their 2008 campaign fourth in the region and 43rd nationally.

Burduli Falls in Opening Round of NCAA Championships
Washington State University senior Ekaterina Burduli captured the first set but could not hold on as South Carolina's Gira Schofield rallied for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory during first-round play at the 2008 NCAA Women's Singles Championship, Wednesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
